VAG uses standard ISO15765-4 ID's, except for the newest MQB Evo cars.
I am not sure why you have to ask - it takes a few seconds to find this out...

100, but because PCMFlash does a bypass flash every time instead of doing an unlock and then flashing cal, it increments the flash counter by 3-4 every time.
The reason for the flash counter is that the smaller sectors need a "flash refresh" after 100 flashes.
Flashing the calibration area only there is no such problem, thus after doing an unlock it's possible to disable the incrementing of the flash counter.

But of course that's extra effort and PCMFlash is always minimum effort, as you get what you pay for.

OBD flash counter limit
Whats the usal number on MED17 VAG that is the limit? (I never got to an issue with EDC17 VAG - I went over 50-60 flashs....)

Hello
Anyone have information about volkswagen online access for mileage verification by obd and which tool need to use.
Some people are using this method to restore deleted dtc with their freezframe
Like if someone delete a dtc on 25000km after that car mileage was lowered to 15000km if using this access will restore this dtc with freezframe for mileage 25000km i’am not sure if it’s really possible so if anyone know how i can pay a good money for this.

Hello,
I was working with the tool at ME7 95040 and it worked fine. Thanks!
Now I tried at Bosch (Fiat, not VAG) EDC15C7 with 95P08.
When initiating communication it fails (error=0x21007) or with another cable (error=0x20201).
Is there a chance of reading the EEprom without desoldering?

Another question: Does someone know, where CS-error is written in the EEprom 95P08 HW 0281011755 SW 379274?

Thanks

To help  you out - check Cobb of Ecutek tuning manuals for Simos 18. You missing quite few important bits. There limiters for flow, boost, chra, temperature and few safety related. Tailoring mentioned you can ask more air and deal with outcome - deviations in fuel trims for your afr target folowed by regular pain about fuelflow, impacts from port flaps, vvl and vvti.
