Title: Signing a tune
Post by: ddillenger on November 04, 2012, 08:23:43 PM
So assuming you opened a tune with a hex editor-say you wanted to put some sort of signature on it, could you just insert it into the empty sectors (the ones that are FF'd out)? Just curious, I was looking at a tune and I'm not sure, but there appears to be a non standard string.

Just like that. Can it be anywhere in the file, as in any FF'd section, or are there particular areas it has to be placed so as not to disturb the tuning?
