Hi, if anyone could help..

I'm trying to make KFLDIMX right but having some issues

Same tune on both logs, 1st heat soaked very slightly downhill, 2nd first day pull same place inverse direction

1st log boost get low on top end
2nd log having those boost spike

Will this be a tune problem or hardware problem?

every now and then I'm getting this fault code "17956 - Boost Pressure Controle Valve (N75): Open Circuit" but not at the moment

logs attached

I would try and resolve this first.

Yes, resolve your N75 issue, BUT I have to say, that doesn't look bad. I'd work on IMX at lower rpms or try an entirely different approach to KFLDRL

I'm still having the same issue.

I follow this http://workshop-manuals.com/audi/a4_mk1/power_unit/6-cylinder_engine_2.7_ltr._5-valve_turbo_%28rs4%29_mechanics/exhaust_turbocharger_g-charger/checking_charge_air_system_with_turbocharger/checking__solenoid_valve_for_charge_pressure_control_n75/ to check N75 and wiring and is all fine.

I made some changes on imx but same results. The thing is that only when going uphill it manifest.

More 2 logs, log 18 downhill, log 19 uphill

Looks like your N75 PID controller needs some more work. Try increasing KFLDRQ2 and reducing KFLDRQ1 before you get the overboost condition?

No, he has other issues. One of them probably includes setting UMDYLDR to a ridiculous value?

Thanks for your inputs.

I will take a look at KFLDRQ2/1

UMDYLDR is stock

Also, why isn't your DC 100 during spool?

I had reduced imx at lower revs to try eliminate those boost spikes

This is with imx 95 till 2750rpm

Will increase KFLDRQ2 tomorrow to see if it helps

I would get more aggressive with request on spool.

Increasing request made it a little worse

So I only increased KFLDRQ2 and I think is a little better

I have not looked at your file, but you likely need to still increase q2 in the higher lde columns and also raise the last column dimx to get the boost to stabilize.

I would start with a stock dimx, and raise the values from there... and a stock q2 and raise it mostly in the higher lde columns.

Q2 example of what usually works for me:

pick the rpm row that represents your earliest full spool up time (2750-3000).  go to the last LDE column (700).  Increase that value by 25%.  smooth out the cells around that area into the rest of the map.

Then, update the last column of dimx by ever so slightly raising those values to prevent the oscillation you see.
