Post by: vtraudt on February 13, 2017, 04:53:08 AM
Possible to tune the 5HP24 TCU (used on 8 cyl engine) to work with 6 cyl ECU (or vice versa)?

I have a 2004 allroad with a 2.7 engine. I have installed a transmission from a 4.2 allroad in. I have also changed the rear differential. The data being reported from the TCU is now incorrect and causing the car to idle weird. TCU is sending maxed out load values to the ECU. Is there any way to fix this problem without getting a allroad 4.2 TCU?
