i believe w pin is pin 7 and + pin is pin 8, is this correct?

if so do i just bridge pin 7 and 8 on the leads for my test clip?

SPI 24Cxx eeproms are very tricky to work with in circuit. Best bet is to take it out from circuit and read it.
