Thanks f1torrents im trying to send the message via cheap china USB2CAN device.. not sure how reliable it is.. It blinks one time when i press SEND.. om also not sure about the PinOut hmm but I think i have +12 and ground connected correct.. The CAN bus "Twisted Pair" was also easy to find.. but when I apply 12V the cluster blinks one time and the needles starts to move to "0""..

i use a canbus for these, just go to a scrapyard and get one from an 8p audi, they wire up to +12v, ground, ign, canH and canL then canH & canL to OBD plug and just connect cluster to power and canbus http://picclick.co.uk/Audi-A3-Gateway-module-2003-2008-1K0907530B-genuine-8P-272382677580.htmlgateway pinout - 1,2 - +12v (connection 30) 14 - +12v (connection 15 [Ignition]) 11,12 - Ground connection 6 - powertrain CAN bus, low 16 - powertrain CAN bus, high 9 - DIAGNOSE can low 19 - DIAGNOSE can high 8 - Dashboard can low 18 - Dashboard can high 5 - convenience CAN bus, low 15 - convenience CAN bus, high 10 - infotainment CAN bus, low 20 - infotainment CAN bus, high 13 - to Dashboard pin15

You will need at least BCM (electric Body Control Module) and Gateway to make it work properly....

You don't need any modules, if you can send the correct canbus messages at the correct intervals.

I dont have any can bus sniffers , can you tell me what is worth buying?
It was cheaper to buy a Borndnetz ( less than 10$ )
So I have it all connected on bench - Bordnetz , Gateway and cluster - I can communicate with them using VCDS , the Bordnetz sends signal after switching ignition ( 12v on terminal 15 pin in G connector ) , but the clusters only lights up clock and odometer
What did I do wrong? In measuring blocks the can works ok, and no can faults in any module

Which fuel level sender is fuel pump side? I have slight doubt that how well suction jet pump works, so I coded cluster to fwd to read only one level sender to be sure how much fuel is at pump side but does it now read at pump side?

A little OT but quattro fuel gauge works also with one fuel level sensor and can be sure that how much fuel is at the pump side. Side effect of this is that at when the car is resting the tank sides does level themselves and when start driving the fuel gauge start to climb when suctionjet side is pumped to pump side.
