ECU costs around 2000$ by the way  Wink

Under warrenty  for 7 years 100k lol so not really that worried .
You guys are rite I'm way over my head with trying to do this but still want to learn it ...

Learn on something easier.

Just reading/writing that ecu will cost you several 1000 dollars.

Yeah i know im learning on mk4 1.8t's which is my friends car . But i don't want to mess his car up you know .. all i have so far is stock file and stg1 for awp .. but its got one checksum error  Huh

Late MK6 GLI's are Simos 12.x

Even worse.

Don't brick ECU's and cover them under warranty- man up to your own mistakes so everyone else doesn't have to pay.
