Good evening.  I have a bench setup, tested successful PIN reads on several C5 allroad and C5 A6 ECU's and printed them to screen no problem.  Saved a few bin files, etc.  I also  used several different cables just to see if they would work with ME7_95040 and yep.  Now, when I hook up RS6 ECU's I cannot read either one of them (7.1.1).  Received error=0x01.  Nothing to do with com port, cable, computer, power supply, etc.

Run positive lead to pin 26 on ECU harness with resistor?  I ran positive to 26 without resistor and still error.

Ground the socalled boot pin?

I'm stuck but will keep trying.  Thanks, in advance.

Hi,

I've got the same problem, but also can't get it into boot mode. I received error=0x07.

Is it the type of ECU or something?

Try using a resistor, I have no issues with getting these ECUs into boot mode with a resistor

I successfully got in to bootmode with the Galletto, but didn't try with the ME7_95040.

I will check next time.
