Thanks ddillenger for confirming the tt file will flash onto the jetta ecu.
If i follow the s4wiki for egt removal and modify CDATR, CDATS, CATR and these too:
CLAATR - Error class exhaust gas temperature regulation
CLAATS - Error class exhaust gas temperature sensor
will that be sufficient? or is there another method im missing?
on my own 2.7t 551R ive got them coded out with but ive left the hardware. Im dying to know how to unplug them without dtcs.


Follow the FR. Three codewords is all that is needed. There is no need to kill any fault classes ever.

I've done this using the forum information, using ESKONF for SAI, CANISTER AND VVT. The EGT solution it's in another post, using CLAATR, etc..

Working good, I moved from a 8N0906018N to a 8N0906018H using 018CB file

A little rescaling and code out VVT and your off. I did this on my 225 and had no issues at all.
