Hi guys im a female gear head from utah, I've been an auto mechanic for 12 years and eventually moved on to computer networking due to health reasons recently I acquired a 2001 volkswagen jetta 1.8t engine code aww that i am tinkering with and given my background I really want to learn how to do some software tuning. so far I'm still trying to figure out what software I need and what cables to buy, a few days ago I bought a dell inspiron mini to use as a "carputer" heh I hope it works out ok it's running windows 10 which I've not seen mentioned to much so I hope it's ok.
the car I have had a blown turbo and im planning on buying a k04-001 to replace the k03 then I'm gonna need the software to make it all click I'm hoping I can find all the info I need here so far I've not had much luck finding any files for it i can use as an example (any help appreciated) I don't want anyone to do it for me i just would like to see what is changed from stock with a successful file, meanwhile I will keep reading. so that's my intro, Hi All Smiley

Welcome.  Reconsider the K04-001.  There are many better options out there.
