Title: New Beetle 2.0 AVH 06A906032EB (06Q906032) second O2 disable
Post by: Miolav on February 25, 2022, 05:28:44 PM
HI! Thanks to the forum people for sharing knowledge.
I want to tune my ECU to disable second O2 sensor.
I get dump from my ECU flash (29F800BB) - in attachment.
Found XDF with patches from user "vwnut8392", but for 06a906032C. And applied emission patches.
Is it ok to flash attashed tuned BIN to ECU?

I wouldn't flash that. That definition is for a early aph beetle and isnt even close to your file. It randomly changed bits in the file that have nothing to do with emissions. Your best bet would be to read the wiki and wrap your head around the changes you need to make vs being lazy and trying to use something that will leave your car immobile.

Yes, I have read the wiki, but didnt clearly understand)
1. How to get correct XDF for my engine and ECU?
2. Should I edit just ESKONF? or CDHSH etc too?

That definition is for a early aph beetle and isnt even close to your file.
3. Looks like APH and my AVH is very similar engines. My car is old too - 2000 year. Are you sure that definitions should be different?

Long story short
Try to find similar file with xdf and make your own definition with beyound compare app
Or pay someone.

OK) But what to compare? Im IT engineer, understand numeral systems, can program at junior level, so i asking about principle - what should be similar, what could be different?

My main goal is to deep understand tuning procedure, but i can pay someone. Can you do that? What price?

Is this a joke? The files are not even close to the same size. Also, nothing about the engines are similar from a tuning prospective besides running on petrol and have 4 cylinders...  :D
