Hallo everybody,

i have a little problem with my engine modification. yesterday my brother gave away a donor vehicle for scrapping. The Ecu from 1.8t engine was in the car.

i have a Ecu for Audi a4 b5 1.8 ECU. My question is: Can i copy the file from 1.8t ECU to 1.8 ECU? do you differ in your inner life?
I think I have read that the pin assignment and plug are the same.

If I remember correctly, the 1.8 N/A ME7.5 ECU lacks drivers for N75 etc etc, so I doubt your 1.8T file will run properly in a 1.8 N/A ECU.

I have no logs because I have a boost gauge (makes things easier)

The N75 driver is the intake manifold changeover driver on 1.8 me7.5 (LOL). You can try crossflashing to 512kb to 1.8t 512kb if it fails just recover. Closest match to it is APU, if your 1.8 me7.5 is 058 with vvt.

These are amazing information. Thanks a lot. i think my 1.8 me7.5 is not with vvt, but my 1.8t is not vvt too it´s a ARZ. @Blazius do you know if there are different components equiped or is it just the ECU file witch is different? i want to try it for sure, but first at all i would like to inform my self about it.

I dont know for sure all of it but I know the ignition drivers are different there are only 2 of them since 1.8 runs wasted spark. The rest should be the same.

I just looked. The pin assignments do not fit 100%. Some pins are different. I think that indicates changes in the inner, so it can not work. Pity would be good. Thank you very much for your help

The 1.8 NA is different.

The 2.0 NA and the 1.8T is the same however.

Pretty much all of them.
On NA the LDR endstage is used for intake manifold flap.

Is AGU right for yours? It's not ME7 don't forget, save any market differences?

If this helps, a quick look at the variances to track back in the ecu, helps in hybrid config's when needed for some maps/logic/ or in the in/output stages...... plenty of xdf/ols variances on nef to look at in the def area below to compare differences;

He's trying to change ME FI using ME NA but choosing none ME FI (my fallibilities permitting), to control said system!

I've shown him his probs, above (why M isn't ME), you can look at the 20v variances - u can even look at the main ecu variances and evolutions here, which kinda explains it all with my above links tbh'! M = Cable v ME = Cableless, or Electronic;

So, there's a lot of coding stuff you'll get thrown at you too, or pay for things here;

Or u need an ME7  Wink
