checksums arnt working when i change this file, it says checksums successfully updated but when i put the file through me7check it says there is a fault.
if someone could put lc nls and crackle on for me and check the checksums correct that would be very helpfull.
thanks.

Please post what you did to correct it. That ss is useless.

Also if you used the LC script w/o knowing what it does, forget it.

Revert to stock and/or read the LC thread.

I will likely merge this thread there once you figure out how me7sum works.

i have not tried copying a script file or anything like that.
i am using tunerpro with the checksums plugin for me7 -2002
algorithm error using the me7 one.

Stock file checks as file ok
if i go into LAMFA (for instance) and change ONE number then save,
its says checksums successfully calculated.
then i check the file in me7check and get the fault i posted in the screen shot.

do you know what that fault means?

Your frontline issue here is that your checksum plugin doesn't seem to support RSA and you have a binary with RSA. Switching to me7sum will let you make basic calibration changes and will fix the RSA for you by installing a self-signed key chain into the binary.

However, you will need to be VERY careful with your attempts to enable lc/nls/crackle on this resulting file as you will need to work around RSA somehow. I believe the scripted versions of this patch all clobber parts of RAM that the RSA routine needs to function. This means you will create binaries that you can flash, but then you will get the "death code." I would recommend improving your knowledge substantially before you attempt LC/NLS/Crackle period, and on this file especially. Yet another argument for getting rid of the LC scripts that are floating around and seem to cause more harm than good.
