Alternate *.bin files for 8N0906018C

Hello, I'm new to this so I may not ask this question correctly..
I own a 2000 Audi TT 180hp, FWD, ATC with an 8N0906018C ECU,
my qquestion is can I use bin files ending with letters other than "C"
or do they have to match exactly...
thank you for any help you can offer me...

Most likley yes, use me7check to see if they have the same version bootloader.
There are most likley some diffrences in the mapps, but if you're just swapping to get an more deffined .bin thats fine
