However, as sudden as the error occured, it also went away by itself again. I was getting this same error intermittently - I've been chasing baud rates, sampling rates, variable count, etc. All i had to do was unplug my cluster fuse (#11 on mk4 jetta) and I can log like a mf now. many thanks! And I recommend using VisualME7Logger or DrageEngineAnalyzer on top of ME7Logger- because running around without an instrument cluster is unsettling when you're trying to do WOT pulls... I try to turn on ignition, start logger, start car. After 5-10 sec it crashes with 0x04 error. If I pull my cluster fuse, I can log forever. But i can't log vehicle speed or gear, which are important. |
