Short long story, I have 6HP on M7.1
Now I want to change gearbox, but I don't want to relocate sensor (6HP have sensor location like manual gearbox) and on my curent gearbox I need to relocate sensor to be in same position like on 5HP

Is it posible to change that in software? To tell ECU that sensor is on different angle?

one mechanic I know who assembled such cars said that yes, it is possible. as well as PWM control of the fan block. he didn't change anything, just connected the wiring and everything worked. the flywheel remained original from 2.7

without modification of the flywheel or gearbox housing. without replacing the fan control unit

You need to find in IDA constant GDWRT

Easiest solution would be to redrill the flex plate for the correct offset

If you are in the market for a tune and would like the ease of downloading and flashing a dyno tested tune for a fair price check out https://instatune.sellfy.store/
