Very noob question here.  I have two ECU's, one is a 8N0906018BB from a 2003 Audi TT 225HP M/T, the other is a 8N0906018CJ from a 2004 Audi TT 225HP M/T.
Both are the BEA engine code.
My question is can I read the file out of one ECU and flash it into the other?  I don't know what is the difference between them. Same engine code only a year apart.
My car is actually a 2001 TT and I bought these for wideband O2 conversion.

It's been said many times on this forum - CLA stuff should not be touched in 99.9% cases.
It will only hide the fault from OBD. The ECU still detects the fault and performs the same way as it is there.
If you use CLA to hide an EVAP fault for example then there will be no codes, but the fuel trims won't work etc.

Noted.
I just wanted to dive in and see what else was in there.
