Hello,

I tried to do immo off on ME7.5 of Audi S3 but somehow I get "P1640 ECU faulty (EEPROM)"
I assume I did something wrong, but I cant figure out what.
I have attached both ori and mod with corrected checksum.
Willing to pay for help.

Thank you

Forgot to say, car starts runs for 1-2 seconds and goes off again.

As soon as I write back the ori readout, the P1640 ECU faulty (EEPROM) is away.

Remember to count in hex.

20-1 is not 19, it's 1F.

Ok tried that now, the EEPROM error is gone, thank you very much for this.

But its still the same, car starts and goes off again.
Is there anything missing, any signal which the ECU needs from dash ?
Because engine is transfered into a Golf MK2 and we dont have any dashboard there.

If the immobilizer were killing it you'd have a DTC "Engine start blocked by immobilizer"
Is that the case?
