Hey guys I have a 2006 audi A4 2.0T and was looking for the definition file and came across this post:

http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php/topic,467.0title,.html

"Audi 2.0 TFSI 8P0 907 115 200261B00486" would be the correct definition file for my car, correct? What are the "random" numbers at the end of the name?

Thank you!

You need to read your file, then compare it to the one posted. Chances are that no, it is not correct. 8P0 (A3) is generally not the same as 8E0 (A4) when it comes to definitions.

Thank you for the quick response!

I will do some more playing around and see what I can come with up. I will write a post if I can't figure it out myself!

I am having some problem connecting to my ECU and the only thing I can think of is the cable I am using.

I use this cable with my VW Passat 2001.5 ME7 ECU and it works fine with VAG COM and Nefmoto. Does the Audi's MED9 ECU communicate differently (like through can bus or k line) than the cable? I'm not sure if its the cable thats the problem or what it could be.

Here's what it looks like:

Nefmoto ME7 ecu flasher. Not MED9. Nefmoto, and K-line cables will not work on that ecu.
