Title: Can you transfer and re saulder a tuned chip from a crashed cpu to a stock cpu?
Post by: Og_Gramps1.8t on September 12, 2019, 10:05:06 AM
I have 01 A4 Quattro 1.8t 440cc injectors, 4 Bar Map, Garrett GT25 turbo, Apr turbo inlet and full exhaust. Last week my chip tuned cpu crashed but fortunately I was able to find a new one for cheap.  My question is this; Can I remove the tuned chip from the crashed cpu to my new cpu? If not could someone PLEASE help save me some money and email me a tune file for my car with the above mentioned mods. It's my only car and although I got it to start it runs much to rich to drive. My cpu code is 4BO 906 018 CH. I will send my email out immediately if anyone gets back to me thinking they could help. Thanks again!
