Title: EDC15V immo 038906018BM Post by: TijnCU on November 16, 2016, 07:18:16 AM Hey guys, I'm tuning my friends diesel, and he gave me a socketed ecu. He was unsure about the immobilizer, so I desoldered the 24C02 and dumped the bin. It looks super weird! It doesnt look anything like the eeproms I did on ME7, so is it corrupted?
I think the part from 0x000A6 untill 0x000E1 needs to be FF, the structure is not right. Where is the immobilizer info set in this bin? I dont have an eeprom tool for this type, I can open it with the 95040 tool and it does apply changes, but its not made for the 24c02 so I think it won't work correctly. If it does work, I can manage on my own but I'd like some feedback about using this tool. I have another one of these ecu's that I can desolder to verify, but I dont really like soldering ::). If anyone can take a peek at this bin, I would appreciate it! Title: Re: EDC15V immo 038906018BM Post by: turbojohan on November 16, 2016, 11:24:41 AM Here you are, this should work.

Will try Johan's file, it is soldered back in already. Title: Re: EDC15V immo 038906018BM Post by: TijnCU on December 14, 2016, 03:47:46 PM Johan's file did not work for this ecu, it caused the code for eeprom error in vcds and no-start.
I found another file that I tested to work correctly. :) The bin/ecu I used with this file: 038906018BM 0281001846 356590 Title: Re: Post by: macxxx on December 15, 2016, 07:45:58 AM There is a free tool for edc15 on vagdashcan page as i remember
