I compare old and new rotor, dimatetar is the same. Heights is 0.4 mm diference so I can say they have same dimensions.

The 0.4 mm difference in height is massive for the air gap for it to work

My friend send me pic, 2001 2.7T engine with VVT use one gap rotor. So i instaled back 1 gap rotor from AEB, clear DTC and now everything is alright.
I will see tomorow how it drives

I don't think that would solve the problem, i am little bit a sceptic
Etka shows that AWT use different rotor

No, the thing is, the timinig belt was off for a half a year. I was driving that car every day and I didn't noticed anything wierd. I can't belive that. Only the MPG was a little bit higher, and the 0-100 from 6.5s to about  7s. The car was driven like a race car. But didn't make any damage, still I can't belive Shocked
