Please copy/paste the *text* (not a screen shot) of the command you typed along with the output of me7info.

command:

ME7Info.exe -n 1ML906032A_002

output:

read 1116 map entries
mapped 200 aliases
ME7Info: can't open binary file 1ML906032A_002

Let me guess, the name of the file is 1ML906032A_002.bin but you have "show filename extensions" turned off because windows is for fucking retards heh.

Even worse if the filename has a space in it.

More windows idiocy. I just don't get why they say windows is easy.

I’m unsure I will have to check, I even tried changing the file name to “1ML906032A” so that it had no spaces and I still got the same error:

ME7Info: can’t open binary file 1ML906032A

I’m guessing I’ll have to put “1ML906032A.bin” in the command ? Or would that be incorrect ?

Can you try and see if you have any luck with it ?

If I’m honest mate I’m a bit of a noob with all this , previously I’ve used ME7Info and never had a problem with other files so that’s all I’ve known how to do it.

Me? no. If the error is it can't find the file, you have the file in the wrong place or it has the wrong filename.

type "dir" in the same directory you are running me7info in.

If the file isn't there, you're in trouble

Really, you should learn a bit more about windows command lines before proceeding.
