I have all the maps defined in this ECU that I believe I need except KRKTE value. Vehicle is 2005 Volvo S60R AWD manual trans.

I know stock injectors are 465cc/min (at 3.8 bar) which when calculated should give me KRKTE of .07902
Factored by .000111 that should be 16bit decimal value of 711.9 (712)
I'm assuming a few things here; KRKTE is indeed a 16 bit value and that my math is correct.

I have read that KRKTE value is close to LAMFA (typically before it) but I have not found it yet Sad
LAMFA is at 23844 and is 6x16 8 bit in this file.

I'm trying to do my research first before I start modifying the car, practice first then execution!

Any help would be super awesome!

Hi, I know it's been a while since you posted this, but have you been able to find KRKTE? I am looking for the same value in my file. Have you found the address or the distance from LAMFA? Also, I thought LAMFA was a 6x15 8bit. Am I wrong about that?
Thanks!

Thats no evidence...

open a true ME7.5 file from audi for example and look for that string. You will not find it and the one you find does look completely different.

Volvo has a very different approach to ME7. That's true throughout their entire software range. But regardless of the implementation, the file says that it is ME7.5, so for lack of a better idea of what it is, I think we should say that it's ME7.5. Just because it's not Audi/VW ME7.5 doesn't mean it's not some convoluted ME7.5 known only to Volvo. It wouldn't be the first time they've decided to do things... differently.

Again. The File does not say it is ME7.5

the 500 behind the ME7_ stands for the A2L base.

The software structure is missing the significant difference between ME7.5 and ME7.

Bosch system name string begins at 0x12644 in your file: ME7.01

That's fine with me. Whatever we call it doesn't really matter. I still have the problem of not being able to find KRKTE...
