Hi!

After getting my fuel trims done with a lot of work i headed over to giving the car some boost. I wanna run about 1,2 bar ~ 17 psi.
I started with using masterj's excel to get a first overlook on how to set KFMIOP, IRL, LDRXN, and LDRXNZK. Copied them in my file and got an file from S3 1.8t to copy KFLDHBN.

Then i drove and logged everything mentioned in s4wiki for boost and torque. But my Boost actual (from about 4000rpm i get 17 psi) is way of my boost desired. Before tuning for torque i got straight  13 psi till redline .

What do i have to look for in the log to find the error? I attached the log.

Car is an MK4 GTI with K04-023, 3inch downpipe , R32 DSG intake, Original Bosch 440cc injectors (0280155968), upgrade exhaust manifold, intercooler. Engine rebuild was 2 months ago, every gasket new, no boost leaks or so. Only DV is at the moment known to make problems since it got cold here. Will investigate this as i find the time to.

Soon after the last pull i got into limp mode error code P1335 Torque Monitor 2 Limit Exceeded.

Thats not a boost profile you would like to have with a k04 turbo.

have you tried to crossflash a bam/amk file to your ecu to have a k04 base file?

I did not try this. I'm running a 1024kb wideband ecu and at the moment no egt sensor. How can i determine if the K04 file is suitable?

Just Flash it. Do you have equipment and knowhow to boot the ecu?

modify the stock file to have your Injector and maf data and Start your car

Due to lack of time today, I only flashed my old File with flat 0,9 bar boost (measured boost gauge). File is "stock" AUM with just a risen LDRXN and XNZK.
It definitely was flat boost curve with about 0,9 bar seen on the gauge. I also hooked up a little arduino thing i have, sniffing the boost sensor data and it also was flat 1 bar.

But in the log Wastegate goes to 0% and pvdkds rises up to 1,3 bar when plsol wants 1 bar, what i got according to my gauge and how slow the car was.

I'm not familiar enough with interpretating the values from s4wiki, to determine if it is soft or hardware issue.

time to fix your logger config
check this file and enable this variables in your logger

there are two ways to go:
start with a original file and change hfm and fueling and set wgduty to fixed 0%
or
or try reflashing bam or amk file like i told you before

not sure what you are talking about with gauge and arduino but your mapsensor is correct i think

okay

next time log with warm engine
now you have throttle cut because of overboosting

edit: your maf is okay

start from there and only change small things to see and understand the changes with the logfile

honestly im not an export in modifying k03 files for k04 turbo and i am interested in learning aswell
lets start a new clean thread for this and post log and file

i am not sure if you should copy dimx and kfldr from a k04 file, this is over my head

edit2: your wastegate is too tight if this is a stock k04-022 or 023
your should have around 0,5bar base boost when wgdc 0%
