I'm trying to do an immobilizer delete on a EDC15VM but what's the address? Most free software doesn't work for this bin file? I've seen videos online where they change the HEX value but how does one find it?

ALH 1.9 TDI 5 Speed.

Here's the stock bin file.

Because those free tools work with the eeprom not flash. You can immo off flash file too, though its not all that common of a way to do it

Do you know any books/sources I can read about reverse engineering ECM's from scratch using decompilers I'm new to this all and trying to learn in my spare time. I'm trying to get a better grasp on these devices. I know there's a bunch of resources on ME7 are they a similar architect right C167?
