New to the VW game but I made a deal on a 2001 Turbo Beetle this morning..... $600. Goals with the car are simple. Stripped down sleeper street menace without spending over $1500. Ordered the greatest turbo upgrade kit on the planet.... eBay t3/t4 kit and some 630cc injectors. Now just trying to figure out how to get it tuned and make it nasty! Would love to see it on a diet at 2200-2400lbs and push 4-450hp. I have a particular ignorant Corvette owner I really want to embarrass.

Big turbo is a hell of a task to start out with if you haven't fiddled with Bosch ME before.
But anything can be done, if you put in the time  Wink

And anything above 300 bhp will need a engine build to be safe.
Not saying it can't be done, but you're on the limit of what the stock hardware can do.
