Title: Smoothing Sensors
Post by: adam- on September 13, 2016, 11:58:46 PM
Following my last topic, how do you get smoother lambda sensor results?  My requested is smooth, but actual is jumping all over the line.  Why?

Incorrect MAF scaling?  How bout a log?

MAF is pulled from a CB file.  I'll throw a log up tonight.

And you are sure you have sensor that matches your configuration?  CB is TT file?  there were two different MAF sensors with ever so slightly different output on TTs.

actual is jumping all over the line.

By how much? Graph or log(s) yo.

Completely stock intake side as was calibrated for by Bosch? Perfect injectors? Any difference in those 2 will affect fuel calculation and delivery obviously.
Besides, I see a fluctuation of +/- 0.02 lambda or 0.3afr (about 2,4% fluctuation from requested), you think that is very bad? An engine is not a static system  :)

I just thought it would follow more.  Never did the calculations to see the percentage different, just thought it would follow better.

Injectors are brand new (within 20km).  Might be kfkhfm slightly out.  Going to use Guitar's fixer to aid fkvvs.

I just meant to say its very hard to go perfect on such a system with many variables. I did not even mention the lambda sensor itself (how trustful is that one after you've been antilagging the shit out of it?) The fkkvs fixer has worked very good for me, but I dont chase perfect figures. Within 5% I'm happy :-)
