Title: 01 S4 Table differences between stock Hitachi MAF and Bosch RS4 MAF
Post by: wickster on October 27, 2010, 08:11:18 AM
Car: 2001 Audi B5 S4
ECU: 8D0997551M 0002
Engine mods: K04 turbos, 85mm MAF housing with Hitachi MAF, Siemens 630cc/min, (60lb/min) injectors, Green coolant temp sensor

Currently wanting to try to start from scratch so this will be my log of the changes I've made based on research and the help of this forum. I'm just starting this today so lets see if we can get the car running well by the end of the work day.

Looks like with the WIKI and my other resources available I should be able to correct my MAF variables and larger injector variables easily.

You should be able to use the 85mm MAF and 60lb Siemens injector file I posted as a place to start.

I eventually figure this out and was able to scale the stock Hitachi table for my 85mm ASP MAF housing. Worked out very well.
I was reaching the limit of the stock MAF housing at 5800 RPM with my K04s, I'm now within the range of the 85mm scaling at all times.

What are you MAF settings? were you able to get the fuel correction in line accuratly after the housing switch?

I am looking something to compare mine to...
