Can the above two ECUS be cross flashed with each other?

Also any idea why when reading an 032 R file with ME7Check i get 36 checksum errors?

Stop cross flashing and just make a file. Some spend so much effort to avoid changing bits you spend more effort in trying to copy another's file. In reality you'd have better results if you made your own file.
