Yeah probally is then Smiley

I tried to make it linear from 2500 - 6500 rpm, missing the first lower 3 points in each RPM range.

Must have cocked something up as it seemed to increase the idle to 2000rpm!! Smiley

Anyone fancy posting a map up??

Here's what I use on my 2.7T linear throttle files. Road racers like it, drag racers hate it. Smiley

I will have a look at just making it linear after around 2000 - 2500 RPM, just as a tester

lupo's one below for ref.

In any ecu, you can change
KFPED
KFPEDL
KFVPDKSD
KFVPDKSE
KFMSNWDK
KFWDKSMX
NMXDAEF
to make pedal more "aggressive"
You have to change and the KFMIRL to "ask" for more pressure...

In any ecu, you can change
KFPED
KFPEDL
KFVPDKSD
KFVPDKSE
KFMSNWDK
KFWDKSMX
NMXDAEF
to make pedal more "aggressive"
You have to change and the KFMIRL to "ask" for more pressure...

NMXDAEF <- makes no sense to change as it is used only on emergency situations, when throttle plate is faulty
KFWDKSMX <- just set to FF and forget
KFMSNWDK (and inverse map KFWDKMSN) <- not sure what happens when we increase allowed air flow. I think we will get lean condition, but need someones input here
KFVPDKSE & KFVPDKSD <- are mystery maps to me. It would be real nice if someone would chime in on these maps and what affect they have on throttle plate.
KFPED <- THIS IS YOUR MAIN MAP TO INCREASE RESPONSE
KFPEDL <- this is only for faulty pedal

IMO, none of those maps are what you want for a 'snappier' throttle response.

Aside from the throttle limit map, you want to focus on MDFAW.

dont know why i didnt think of it before, but adjusting KFPED to be more linear might make my car a bit easier to drive in the snow.

So if I'm reading Barks' map correctly from above, as rpm increases the target throttle position decreases with constant throttle input?  Why would you WANT that?
