Have anyone ever heard that RS4 K04s can surge on S4?

I'm hearing strange sound what's very much like compressor surge for the short period when logging and going WOT from low revs.
It occurs around 2800-3500rpm.
I get 15psi from 2700-2750, then 19-20 psi around 3000 and 22+psi above 3300rpm (using 3rd gear).

Is it really possible that boost builds up too quickly and engine can't consume that air?

Does anybody with K04 S4 have block 115/118 logs to compare?

Thanks.

Are you talking about a high pitched shrill when at high load in mid range?  If so that's normal.

I was referring to the psi at certain rpms... he should post a sound clip of the sound.  dentist drill sound of dying turbo is very hard to miss.  If you aren't sure, then it's not the dentist drill sound.

another common sound of broken turbos is a nasty rattle which sounds like something is in the cats.  make no mistake, that would be your wastegate...  but again
    dentists drill
    baby rattle
you can't mistake them.  if its not definitely those, they are likely fine...

No, it's not dentist drill and dying turbo. I had it with K03s, completely different.
I'm afraid you can't hear it on sound clip, at least when it's recorded with my phone.
I think it is surge, my question was, is it possible with K04s?
I was hoping someone would post logs to compare how quickly boost is rising.

You can't have any real surge unless you are starting out in 4th gear or something.

A leaky / loose manifold gasket pre-turbo can scream like a reed under high boost. As can a cracked manifold - but that's fairly distinct also.

Hooting sound? Does the rmm in your screen name mean Rocky mtn. If so its a pain at altitude, doesn't happen till 24-6ish at sea level. Varies from car to car. Yup can surge, and the intermitent part is the surge bouncing back and forth between each turbo.
