Title: Audi S3 - CDLA - MED9.1 - Intake manifold flaps remove
Post by: sieniu on July 13, 2018, 10:35:21 AM
Hello, i'm looking for some help how to remove intake flaps from soft. My soft is 8P0 907 115 AP, file in attachment. I find on forum that i have to look for :

CLALBK
CLALBKE
CLALBKO
CLALBKP

But the problem is that i can find this in my file. I have damos from med9.1 but is little different and i can't find this bytes.

And another question, after remove flaps car have problem with idle at cold engine, what advice ?

thanks for help.

Consider removing your flaps with stock turbo or similar to stock turbo useless and bad for your fuel efficiency...

These bits should be excluded from the DTC table. If you do not have a lady for your ECU, you have to calculate their addresses because another damos has a different DTC table layout.

Thanks for answer but what with this problem with idle at cold engine ?

Mechanical issue because streaming air is low speed then without flaps. Turbolence air/fuel is bad, combustion is bad. I think it can be improved by tweaking injection timing, but it does not make any sense to remove them unless you have cheap aftermarket manifold.

Can someone help with some changes in soft ? What maps to change?

Injection timing, injection start angle limiter, warmup fuel correction, lambda target vs temperature, intake charge flap control, fuel rail pressure

Why did you ignore this post, OP?
