Hello all, new 03' A4 1.8t owner here. I'm a mechanic but New to Audi completely, so my problem - The hazard lights stay on even when car is off, sometimes they will stop while car is running after about 10-20 minutes but cut it off an they start back. Disconnect battery (brand new) and whether it be 10 minutes or 10 days as soon as battery is reconnected Hazards start right back flashing... No horns or anything else goes off either. I've been doing ALOT of research in hopes of narrowing it down before throwing parts at it but every other 'fix' i read is for a different part causing it smh.... which leaves me just as i started out. If anyone has had this problem and can point me in the right direction I appreciate any help! Not wanting to go down the swap parts out from cheap to expensive until fixed route by any means. I've been told Ecm, Hazard switch, Door lock sensor, Cluster, Key Fob, pretty much a list of all possible causes.... P.S. SORRY FOR STUPID LONG POST

It looks like a fault with the hazard warning light switch. If there is no car alarm in the car, unplug the switch and check. I had something similar where the emergency lights were activated when starting the engine.

On the other hand, I will answer, this is not the kind of forum where people
 answer such questions.
