I have driven my car with a hybrid K03 with the VVT active and turned off. It seems to be a bit torquier off boost with VVT active….but I haven’t seen enough of a difference to justify the expense of buying a VVT tensioner. Now if you have a good used laying around is it worth the time to install it? Sure.

VVT tensioner always worth for the gains/money spent, straight up "free" torque and better spool.

I made this adapter to utilise the two "unused" wires from the rear O2 sensor and repin it at the ECU plug, so I could keep my ARZ wiring harness that's in perfect condition.

Beeing to busy with the BMW unfortunately at the moment, so not tested yet.

bravo sda2! well done!

Alright! For now I'll have to skip on it due to budget, but will certainly get one in the future along with the 20v cams.

What a sas from people overhere. Typical forums.. I didnt even knew this was possible, its these kind of forum posts that wil help people in 10 years so to speak.

Im gonna keep an eye on this post, love to read some updates from you
Today I did the conversion. I just added two wires to the existing loom, put them in the appropriate pins on the ECU connector and that's that. I found out that on my car I need to remove pin #61 or the fans won't work properly.

Wasn't that bad to be honest, just make sure to not use a wire that's too thick (18 gauge is good).

Along with this fitted some 870cc Siemens injectors and a base calibration map, it idles decent but after checking in there is no lambda feedback happening. It is reporting temperature and the heater module appears to work (checked with vcds), but the voltage is stuck on 1.520v.

Not getting any "open circuit" codes so not sure what's holding me up here.. hoping for some advice

Remove (for my AJQ loom white) pin #61 (right next to 12v pin #62) that's all

Do you perhaps have any advice on getting this lambda to feedback properly...

I did something similar, not very but... AGU M3.83 swapped to ME7 wideband 032FC, used a narrowband Harness from 032AS.
May i just was lucky, i unplugged crap like SAI, relay, rear O2, for my bad also N249.

Then it was just plugging in 2 wires and if i dont mess it up change 2 Wideband pins with each other, everything works fine. I'll check this in my wiring schematics!
