Hello I'm looking for an damos or project file with map locations specifically transmission data. This is for a late b8 2.0tdi caha manual but caga should work as well as long as its cp20 I believe.

I've found the A2L for the same ECU, albeit with a slightly older (5489) software version. By comparing the two, you should be able to find all the necessary information.

I also changed the gearbox and had to change some transmission info in the ECU to enhance ride quality and regain the lost cruise control functionality.
Although I don't recall the specific parameter names or IDs, but the process was relatively straightforward.
I remember setting those parameters by logging both the engine speed and vehicle speed, then calculating the ratio of vehicle speed to engine RPMs.

Thank you, I was able to DL it. Hopefully I can get cruise to work now, this car has a 8 speed trans on the 6 speed manual ecu. I found the maps for the different gear ratios and can get the display and cruise to work for 1-7th actual gears showing 1-6 but no matter how I calculate 8th gear it won't accept it as 6th.
I can't figure out tprot either so I have to keep pulling the ecu to write to it on the bench  Huh

I'm not sure if I want to open a can of worms, but isn't it easier to flash a CVT's ECU firmware onto MT ECU?
