I am. However I used a 85mm 034 Hitachi MAF before. And most of the RS4 guys here use an RS4 MAF ;)

The RS4 has a sensor that is capable of reading much higher airflow than a S4 sensor in the same diameter housing.

And reverse flow as well.

The initial reason I went with the RS4 MAF was that I have a bosch car. I ended up buying a 4.2 a6 airbox (RS4 MAF fits right in it, looks factory) and RS4 MAF. A known transfer sheet makes me happy.

Does the a6 airbox top have the output stage cooling plate??I am looking for one.

A6 does not, which is what I wanted as I have TFSI coils.

I run the RS4 MAF as well.  Came with my APR kit, so I might as well use it.  As mentioned before, it's nice to have known specs.

Can you also provide the part number of the airbox "top" part?

Note that the RS4 MAF was also installed in other vehicles so if you search for the part number itself you can buy it like 3-4 times cheaper:
077 133 471 K
077 133 471 KX

RS4 me too also. When you finish RS4 the solution is MAFless ;)

Anyone have specs of their setup?I purchased a ecu with a epl tune Mbox now i wondering if I can modify necessary parts of it to run a rs4 Maf and air box top.

Even though the MAF fits and the bottom half of the airbox is completely identical to the B5 ones, the top half is longer and has a different angle, I assume they had to compensate for engine bay size differences.
Left one is an RS4 airbox, right one is the one that ddillenger has, so unfortunately this only works for A6 people.
