Title: 1 failed checksum error on 2001 audi allroad stock (presumably) .bin
Post by: n54gasm88 on March 20, 2016, 08:32:24 AM
First time reading my ecu, everything checked out until I ran it with me7check and got 1 error:

me7check v1.12 (c) mki, 06/2004-05/2012
Checking file stockaudi.bin (size=1048576)
Reading Version Strings...
-> Bootrom Version = embedded in CPU, asume 05.12/05.32
-> EPK = 40/1/ME7.1/5/6005.01//22m/DstD1o/110700//
-> Contents of ECUID data table:
   - '0261207004'         (SSECUHN)
   - '1037354145'         (SSECUSN)
   - '8D0907551L  '       (VAG part number)
   - '0001'               (VAG sw number)
   - '2.7l V6/5VT     '   (engine id)
-> Contents of ECUID data table:
   - 'HW_MAN004'

Overall checksum failure found
-> Found 1 error!!!   *******************************

Any help would be fantastic. Thank you.

What does ME7Sum say?

It probably isn't stock.

Upload the file. I absolve you of any guilt if it is not stock :P

haha well thank you. I have been fooling around with everything and have fixed the errors and am now running a stage 1 flash in my AR. Thank you for everything. coming from an n54 world, things are a little more involved on this side of the pond and I need to delve a little more. Thanks again.
