Title: Nefmoto will read one ECU but not another? Post by: OverCaffeinated on March 27, 2016, 08:10:18 PM Why would Nefmoto and Vag Commander read my OEM ECU but not two other tuned ECUs?
I'm trying to receive my SKC/PIN from my oem ECU and two tuned ECUs. Nefmoto will read the general info from the OEM unit but it will not do a full read. Vag Commander will read the OEM ECU but the resulting HEX is 01 00, SKC being 0001. The 2 tuned ECUs I have will not connect to either Nefmoto or Vag Commander. All this is being done in my car. One other odd thing is when I install one tuned ECU and try and start the car it will turn over but not trigger the Immobilizer. Any input would be appreciated.
