Title: The Official RAM Variable Request Thread Post by: phila_dot on September 24, 2011, 05:34:55 PM I figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a consolidated place to request RAM variable locations and which variables to log.
What variable are you guys logging for target AFR? lambas looked to be the best candidate. Can anyone provide the information to add lambas? For bank specific, use lamsbg_w and lamsbg2_w? Title: Re: The Official RAM Variable Request Thread Post by: phila_dot on September 26, 2011, 05:39:15 PM I went through the FR and I definitely think lambas is ideal for logging target AFR. I also decided that lamsbg_w and lamsbg2_w should fill this need as well, so that is what I will use for now.
No one is logging target AFR? Can anyone comment on lamsons_w and lamsons2_w? Is this only used for SAI? I am also curious about dfrst_w and dfrst2_w. Title: Re: The Official RAM Variable Request Thread Post by: nyet on September 26, 2011, 10:22:15 PM ECUx has lamsbg_w (which is also in ME7logger) as AirFuelRatioDesired. I ALWAYS log it.
ME7Logger additionally can log lambts_w and lamfa_w. lamsbg_w = MIN(lambts_w, lamfa_w) Title: Re: The Official RAM Variable Request Thread Post by: phila_dot on September 27, 2011, 10:11:27 AM Thanks Nyet.
I had assumed ECUx was logging lambas. I was figured out lamsbg_w(2) but thought lambas might be better as it is an average of both banks. Title: Re: The Official RAM Variable Request Thread Post by: nyet on September 27, 2011, 11:37:37 AM Either my definitions file is wrong, or there is nothing in lamsbg2_w...
I dont think req. is stereo in ME7.1 2.7t? Title: Re: The Official RAM Variable Request Thread Post by: phila_dot on September 27, 2011, 12:26:29 PM Either my definitions file is wrong, or there is nothing in lamsbg2_w... I dont think req. is stereo in ME7.1 2.7t? I thought I saw it in mine. I'll check when I get home. I am pretty sure lamsbg2_w is used. The switch is SY_STERVK, which is stereo exhaust upstream of cat. You have values in fr2_w and fra2_w right? Title: Re: The Official RAM Variable Request Thread Post by: nyet on September 27, 2011, 01:22:30 PM You have values in fr2_w and fra2_w right? Definitely. Metered side is stereo, and so is injection time Title: Re: The Official RAM Variable Request Thread Post by: phila_dot on September 27, 2011, 03:42:01 PM You have values in fr2_w and fra2_w right? Definitely. Metered side is stereo, and so is injection time Per the FR, ti_b2 is calculated using lamsbg2_w ---> rk2_w. The switch for ti_b2 also uses system constant SY_STERVK. Title: Re: The Official RAM Variable Request Thread Post by: nyet on September 27, 2011, 03:51:21 PM hum something screwy with my config then. I'll have to check it again.
Title: Re: The Official RAM Variable Request Thread Post by: phila_dot on September 27, 2011, 05:53:16 PM See below for details of lamsbg2_w.
ECU file lamsbg2_w , {AirFuelRatioRequiredBank2} , 0x3823C2, 2, 0x0000, {-} , 0, 0, 0.000244141, 0, {Lambdasoll Begrenzung (word) Bank 2} Config file ;lamsbg2_w ;{AirFuelRatioRequiredBank2} ; {Lambdasoll Begrenzung (word) Bank 2} This information was directly output from ME7Info. Title: Re: The Official RAM Variable Request Thread Post by: TTQS on January 29, 2012, 08:29:20 AM Please would somebody tell me the RAM address for lamfawkr_w?
I want to see if lamfaw-lamkr is being used to enrich below lean best torque at WOT instead of lambts on my tune. Thanks in advance TTQS Title: Re: The Official RAM Variable Request Thread Post by: ArgDub on January 29, 2012, 11:38:48 AM Please check them, not 100% sure these are correct for lamfawkr_w

Thanks ArgDub. My ECU is in the list so I'll give it a try soon. TTQS Title: Re: The Official RAM Variable Request Thread Post by: Leon Mk1 on January 29, 2012, 05:07:29 PM anyone knows where i can find the o2 controller in ME7LOGGER ?
i tried all the lines in .TXT that have LAMBDA\O2 but didn't find it 032HN ecu block 01 bank 3 (http://img805.imageshack.us/img805/7610/201211.jpg) tnx Title: Re: The Official RAM Variable Request Thread Post by: masterj on February 03, 2012, 10:36:20 AM Could anyone help me find these variables?
mimax_w, mifal_w, milsol_w? me7logger can't find them... binary attached ;) Thanks Title: Re: The Official RAM Variable Request Thread Post by: Bische on September 03, 2012, 07:02:55 PM Does anyone have the factor etc for dpus_w?
I tried with the same factor as ps_w but it aint right, how does one find out these factors etc? Dissassembly? I have the address(thanks matchew!). vsfpses should be 1. What does pu_w - ps_w/PSAPES look like? Title: Re: The Official RAM Variable Request Thread Post by: Bische on September 06, 2012, 07:05:56 PM Is CWPKAPP.0 set? vsfpses should be 1. What does pu_w - ps_w/PSAPES look like? CWPKAPP = not set vsfpses = 1 PSAPES = 0 The calculation should be pu_w - ps_w*vsfpses, which should = 975 - 2250 = -1275ish at full boost. Title: Re: The Official RAM Variable Request Thread Post by: phila_dot on September 06, 2012, 09:15:45 PM Sorry, I wasn't very clear and I stupidly used "/" to mean "or".
My point was that we can log pu_w and ps_w and we know that dpus_w is simply the difference. |
