Title: cluster recode?
Post by: n54gasm88 on April 23, 2016, 05:07:56 PM
So i  just downloaded the stage 2 nefmoto community .bin file on my allroad; everything went fine and the car starts but now esp, abs and brake light flashes. do I just do the cluster and engine code recode now? can I do this with vcds-lite?

flyboy's? the one on his website. so yes, its an m-box. but the last few times I tried to reflash to my old tune, it said it was having a communication error.

Thats a manual file, not a tip file

Thats a manual file, not a tip file
so I just need to disable the immobilizer correct?

you flashed a manual file to a tip car and you think the solution is to disable the immo?
how exactly did you come to that conclusion?

I was thinking that since I downloaded a file that was from a 6-speed vehicle onto my TIP allroad and I'm since having issues with it, It's because of my immobilizer. from your statement, I'm guessing there is no parallel between the two. Would you mind pointing me in the right direction as to how I can find a solution to my predicament? Still getting the hang of all this, I apologize.

If you have a tip, you need to start with a tip file as the base. The files are different between manual, and tiptronic. You can use the manual file as a guide, and port the changed maps into your tip file, but that might be a little over your head at this point.
