I have tuned 1.8T M3.8.2 and it has something like twitching when you release throttle fast till 3000 rpm. For example if you are accelerating fast 60-100% throttle in city traffic and at 2800 rpm release it car twitches. Almost like fuel cut, but not so aggresive. After 3300-3500 rpm I don't have that problem. When releasing throttle car is normally decelerating. Simple overrun. I can't find any mechanical problem. Could be problem in software. Log fueltrims and se id you have misfires.. check your plugs if they are ok.. change the gap. start with basic checks.. Raised boost can lead to more misfire if plugs are bad.
