found this today. maybe its common knowledge already. but figured id share.

so lets say you have an ecu that looks like this:

and youre a little nervous about doing this ;) :

well, you can use pin 27 on ram for an alternative bootpin:

epoxy removal was no problem. ive done wiis before as well. ;)

The bootstrap loader may be activated with P0L.4 (pin 104 in uC) as well, but is more difficult due to less pin spacing.


Can you share epoxy_uni_018p.bt.bin?

Is it a mafless tune that you know of kompresed?  Interested to know a little about that.

I have a epoxy_tapp_bt tune ;) i looked at, but its older and not mafless.  nothing really in it to help learn anything i guess.

Pin 3 on the eprom will also do the trick.
