Title: SY_EGFE sanity check
Post by: nyet on October 04, 2011, 07:16:08 PM
does this look right for ME7.1 (2.7t)?

Bit0: HFM vorhanden (B_hfmv)                           (true)
Bit1: Drucksensor hinter der DK (B_dssv)             (false)
Bit2: Drucksensor vor der DK (B_dslvh)                (true)
Bit3: Umgebungsdrucksensor;Pu-Sensor (B_dsuv)  (true)

Quick reply:

SY_EGFE is defined in modules GGDSAS 4.80 & PROKON.

MAF sensor present = true. Check.
Pressure sensor before throttle = true. That is where I expect it to be for that engine. Same as 1.8T? If it's before throttle, it ain't going to be after it, so bits must be mutually exclusive.
Ambient pressure sensor = true. Self Study Programme 198 for the 2.7 biturbo mentions an altitude sender F96 on page 49 (integrated with the ECU), so this also appears to be correct.

What's the nature of your problem, knowing what sensors you have or haven't got or setting the bits correctly in the system constant?

Just following the block diagrams in the FR, where EGFE is mentioned to eliminate paths that do not apply to me :)

Nyet,

Are these SY values available for editing without disassembly?

EDIT; Nevermind, found this thread that explained it;
