Title: Re: 2007 AUDI A3 - 8P0907115P Post by: SB_GLI on July 05, 2016, 05:57:06 AM Hopefully. I will check it out tonight and report back. Thank you!
I have one that I thought to be an ori, but there was some weirdness in IRL/IOP that made it look like someone tried to half ass a tune on it. I couldn't find KFLDIMX in it either, as the area it should have been in was all screwy (when the other PID maps were right where I expected them to be). Title: Re: 2007 AUDI A3 - 8P0907115P Post by: ktm733 on July 05, 2016, 10:05:32 AM Weird, I've had a couple files like this also. Kfmiop has been all screwy.
Title: Re: 2007 AUDI A3 - 8P0907115P Post by: SB_GLI on July 05, 2016, 10:59:42 AM Yeah, this was like the last two rows of IRL/IOP that were updated... much like how one would write a performance tune. But I saw nothing else that was touched, unless tuner moved every single map other map that they tuned. I read this file too, and it came off a car that definitely was not tuned... or at least didn't drive like it. I can share the file with you later if you would like to take a peek.
Title: Re: 2007 AUDI A3 - 8P0907115P Post by: ktm733 on July 05, 2016, 11:25:21 AM Sounds like a plan, I'll shoot you over the file I had the same tune or stock file. It drove stock but iop was already 90-100% I'm wondering if maybe this is normal? No other maps were touched.
Title: Re: 2007 AUDI A3 - 8P0907115P Post by: SB_GLI on July 05, 2016, 02:49:46 PM Turns out what I had was a commercial file. This looks to be the ori of it. Thanks!

I need a manual (6speed file) I have a matching BDM flash and e2p read I will get you tonight. Title: Re: 2007 AUDI A3 - 8P0907115P Post by: ktm733 on July 25, 2016, 06:42:14 AM You rock! Another EEPROM will break your immo Title: Re: 2007 AUDI A3 - 8P0907115P Post by: SB_GLI on July 25, 2016, 07:10:46 AM he can copy the immo data from my flash into his to make it work, or use my flash...
Title: Re: 2007 AUDI A3 - 8P0907115P Post by: ktm733 on July 25, 2016, 10:16:29 AM Another EEPROM will break your immo ill delete immo obviously, I messed my data in the eeprom by writing over it with no back up. Title: Re: 2007 AUDI A3 - 8P0907115P Post by: SB_GLI on July 25, 2016, 11:01:16 AM Yeah, but there's encoded(?) e2p data stored in the flash 6C00-6FFF. That needs to "match" the e2p.
I'll help you sort it all if you don't know how to do this. Title: Re: 2007 AUDI A3 - 8P0907115P Post by: ktm733 on July 25, 2016, 11:59:19 AM I didn't know this, what is this stuff?
So let's start from scratch, if I take your bin and eeprom and delete the Immo I won't work is what you are saying? I read the Ecu through bdm so I have everything, after I crashed the Ecu. So now I'm stuck with bad data. Title: Re: 2007 AUDI A3 - 8P0907115P Post by: SB_GLI on July 25, 2016, 12:52:51 PM There's data in the flash (6C00-6FFF) that is some sort of representation of the data in the e2p. if these two do not match, then no start.
So, once I give you my flash and e2p bdm read, if you want to continue to use your file, you will need to copy the data from 6C00-6FFF from then flash that I give you to your flash... optionally, you can just transfer the map changes from your file to my file. It might actually be better to do the later as I ran across a bug in ols that will make ghost changes in your bin if you modify 6C00-6FFF. Just understand that there's a dependency on the e2p data in the flash. Title: Re: 2007 AUDI A3 - 8P0907115P Post by: SB_GLI on July 25, 2016, 12:54:36 PM But you BDM'd the e2p and bin correct? But you are saying you don't have a backup?
Title: Re: 2007 AUDI A3 - 8P0907115P Post by: ktm733 on July 25, 2016, 01:24:32 PM I only have my bin, I crashed the Ecu by flashing a file with med9.1 layout instead of med9.5 which flash in different areas apparently. Well I tried everything and the car wouldn't start. So I pulled an e2p and bin from an auto 115p file and flashed it. Car started up and ran okay. Of cource I deleted the Immo. So that's why I asked for a manual file so I could see the difference. Also have a proper map for this car, with the auto file the rpms hang.

MED9.5 is N/A Title: Re: 2007 AUDI A3 - 8P0907115P Post by: ktm733 on July 26, 2016, 06:00:26 AM Are there any tools out there that will read 2010> ? That doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

MPPS v13 does all MED9 apart from A4s. Title: Re: 2007 AUDI A3 - 8P0907115P Post by: SB_GLI on July 26, 2016, 08:44:32 AM MPPS (v16) bricked a 2007 A3 that I worked on. I tried reading a 2006 A3 with mpps v13 with no luck. Luckily I had a BDM backup.
It is my opinion that you should take MPPS clones and toss them in the garbage, unless bricking ecus is a favorite past time of yours. I've not used v16 on anything other than my 2012 Golf R, but my v13 has been tarted around A/S3s from 05-2010. Also MED9 can be recovered up the port very easily. Yet to have a "bricked" MED9 with any version of MPPS. |
