Post by: daniel on July 06, 2016, 02:41:19 AM
hello Guys.

untill now i was reversing only information on vehicle bus. now i want to get startet with some code dissasembly but i'm stucked on the begining. on ida's website we can read [https://www.hex-rays.com/products/ida/processors.shtml] that professional edition is supporting motorola mpc56xx family processors.

but when I starting a new project, after importing file to an ida when I'm choosing processor type from drop down list I can not find this family.
On the list are only dsp family which is not what I'm looking for.

I was looking over internet for some extension, trying different versions of ida and I was unable to find solution for this. Can somebody help me with this? In revenge I can offer some help with bus RE.

Best regards, daniel

Basically "PowerPC" needs to be your choice. ;)
