Any help is greatly appreciated Title: Re: 06A 906 032 HF definitions needed please Post by: vwaudiguy on July 15, 2016, 11:39:04 AM modify my file by myself Im trying to understand which software i need and which files to compare. Any help is greatly appreciated To modify the file, you will use either WinOLS, Tunerpro, or a small handful of other editors. WinOLS is the one of choice, but it's expensive for a hobbyist. Tunerpro is the most user-friendly for beginners, and is also free. Title: Re: 06A 906 032 HF definitions needed please Post by: Leofury77 on July 15, 2016, 01:51:01 PM When i look at tunepro plugins, I dont see any for my car.
I dont need the $39 version of tunepro for a FWD 1.8T(AWP) ? Where do i get that from, the plug in for my specific engine? Thank you for shedding some light for me :D Title: Re: 06A 906 032 HF definitions needed please Post by: Leofury77 on July 15, 2016, 01:58:58 PM 256

Tunerpro is really only going to help you if you have a .xdf for your ecu. Other wise you will have to match up your ecu to a def file using winols. I think what people are telling you is that if you dont get this part it dont get easier so you will be in big trouble. You may just be a person who should buy tunes, its ok I've been around for 3 years and can only do minor things and am still very far behind. On second thought the hn|hs file may match your file closely enough to make a stage 1 tune for your car using tunerpro. |
