Title: Hey guys noob with a 2000 bettle 2.0;) having immo problems Post by: Pdt8181 on July 21, 2016, 10:42:31 AM My car will start then die. I am a mechanic by trade but have no experience with vw. I have a kkl cable on the way from ebay. Tried locksmiths here in meridian ms with no luck. New battery all grounds checked trying to go immo off then tape the cluster light. I have zed bull and Mitchell on demand-). Thanks in advance for any help!!! Let me know if you need anything

It's usually cold solder joints in the cluster making it not recognize the key cylinder.
