Title: mk4 auto tiptronic to 5 speed manual swap coding Post by: pikeyvw on August 10, 2016, 04:17:16 PM hey, friend of mine told me about this page, i just recently completed swapping my 2005 mk4 1.8t gli from auto tiptronic (worn out) to a 5 speed manual (reliable and plenty around) i work for a well known Vw/Audi shop in Columbus, Ohio. and have had my work mates try coding it aswell as my self and can not get it to accept the coding, then a friend told me about this site, can and guide me in the direction for the program i need to complete my swap.

and then you`re finally able to recode it with xxx5x to xxx0x for 5-speed and xxx1x for a 6 speed trans. HN file is good choice dont forget to disconnect the TCU from harness |
