Title: KFMIRL / KFMIOP changes Post by: Dave9n3 on September 14, 2016, 02:35:03 PM Hi guys,
I've been trying to complete a tune for myself and got stuck when trying to allow for more load by making changes to IRL and IOP maps to ensure I have no unwanted torque monitoring kicking in. Obviously i'll only know for sure when I drive it and take logs. I was hoping someone on here might be able to take a look at the changes I've made to see if it looks OK before I go ahead and flash the file. I was hoping to have a max LDR of 190-195. thanks in advance :) Title: Re: KFMIRL / KFMIOP changes Post by: adam- on September 15, 2016, 12:03:27 AM How did you get those values?
I'm running a BAM IRL/IOP and just made the last row 95/230. Title: Re: KFMIRL / KFMIOP changes Post by: Dave9n3 on September 15, 2016, 07:17:31 AM I took the last row of IRL and decided roughly what I wanted the new values to be, which was ~210. I then figured out what percentage increase that would be over the stock values (which off the top of my head was ~16%) i then increased the second row from the bottom by 10.66% and finally the third row from the bottom by 8%.
Then went to IOP and increased the load axis to 200, which was 95% of my max of 210 in IRL. I then increased the last line of IOP by the same percentage I increased the last row of IRL which turned out to end up with values on the last row of IOP at 95%. i increased the other rows by the same percentages as i did with the other two rows in IRL, applied that to IOP. Finally changed the other load axis values in IOP to what I deemed sufficient. That may be way off how it should be done, I read a lot of the threads on this subject and struggled to understand the way it should be done. Hoping to be told if i'm way off or not Title: Re: KFMIRL / KFMIOP changes Post by: Dave9n3 on November 03, 2016, 08:04:22 AM Back again ;D quick bump in the hope that someone can confirm if i have gone about the changes in a way that will work well. Last attempt before I give in and use a BAM IOP/IRL & WOP
